Job summary

United Security Inc. in Stamford/Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Full-Time Armed Security Officer. The role requires 3 years of law enforcement, active military or equivalent, a CT Carry permit and CT Armed security license.

Armed Security Officer Responsibilities

• Staying very alert
• Monitor pedestrian traffic in and out of facility
• Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients
• Using oral de-escalation when needed
• Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur

Armed Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments
• 3 years law enforcement, active military, or 5 years Armed security experience required
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
