United Security Inc. is hiring for an armed security officer in Norwich, CT. The role requires CT Guard Card credentials and prior armed security or law enforcement experience.

You will work Monday through Friday days with a compensation of $28.41 per hour, and eligibility for a $400 signing bonus paid over six months with conditions. This full-time position includes paid time off, health benefits, and ongoing training under a collective bargaining agreement through Aug 31, 2029.

$28.41 hour

HIRING BONUS:

$400 paid out over 6 months. ½ at 3 months and remaining ½ at six months. Employee must be active and working full time hours.

THIS IS AN ARMED SECURITY POSITION

MUST HAVE CT CT GUARD CARD AND CT ARMED CREDENTIALS

(CARRY PERMIT AND BLUE CARD)

• 9/1/2026 Hourly Rate $28.41
• Increases to $29.65 on 9/1/2027 and to $30.89 on 9/1/2028
• 20 Days of Paid Time Off Accrual.
• Increases to 22 days 9/1/2027 and to 25 days 9/1/2028
• Remaining balance paid out to officer at the end of calendar year, dollar for dollar. Never "Use it or Lose it"
• Non-Worked Holiday Pay
• Health & Welfare benefits (Medical, Dental, Prescription, Eye) Paid by portion of union dues and USI pays the remaining monthly amount
• All the above are guaranteed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement through August 31, 2029
