Job summary

Titan Security Group in Chelsea, MI is hiring Armed Security Officers to protect client sites. The role includes patrolling, access control, CCTV monitoring and incident reporting across multiple shifts, part- or full-time.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid CPL and driver’s license, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass drug screening and background checks. Starting pay is $21.53/hour with benefits: PTO, holidays, 401K, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
• Previous security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility by patrolling areas to deter crime.
• Perform access control and verify credentials.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and identify suspicious activity.
• Check identification, vehicle registrations, and other access controls at entry/exit points.
• Log entries and exits of trucks with company name, driver, truck ID, cargo, and delivery/pickup details.
• Observe for security threats and unusual behavior; report incidents immediately.
• Report safety hazards or emergencies to authorities or management and document the incident.
• Other duties as assigned.

Titan Security is currently hiring Armed Security Officers to work at a location in the Chelsea Michigan area.

Schedule is various, candidates must be able to work all shifts, part or full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Visibility: Ensure high visibility by periodically stopping and patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
• Access Control / Verify Credentials: Ensure that individuals attempting to enter the facility have proper identification and access passes, such as badges, cards, or visitor passes.
• Surveillance: Continuously monitor CCTV cameras placed around the gate area to identify suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, or any security breaches.
• Monitor Entry and Exit Points: Ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles are entering or exiting the lot by checking identification, vehicle registration, or other access control protocols.
• Log Entries and Exits of Trucks: Keep a detailed log of all trucks entering or leaving the premises, including company name, driver name, truck ID number, cargo type, and delivery or pick-up details.
• Observe for Security Threats: Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering individuals, or any signs of illegal activities such as theft, vandalism, or drug use.
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report any security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate authorities or management, and document the incident thoroughly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid CPL
• Must have a valid driver's license
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Previous experience in security is preferred
