Job summary

Titan Security in Chelsea, Michigan is seeking Armed Security Officers to protect facilities and deter crime across multiple shift options. You will maintain high visibility, verify credentials, monitor CCTV, and report incidents with professional conduct.

Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a valid CPL and driver’s license, and have a High School diploma or GED. Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required; prior security experience is preferred, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility by patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
• Access control / verify credentials for entry (badges, cards, visitor passes).
• Surveillance via CCTV to identify suspicious activity and security breaches.
• Monitor entry/exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter or leave.
• Log entries and exits of trucks with company name, driver name, truck ID, cargo, and delivery/pickup details.
• Observe for security threats like loitering or suspicious behavior and potential illicit activities.
• Immediate incident reporting and thorough documentation of breaches or hazards to authorities or management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Titan Security is currently hiring Armed Security Officers to work at a location in the Chelsea Michigan area.

Schedule is various, candidates must be able to work all shifts, part or full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Visibility: Ensure high visibility by periodically stopping and patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
• Access Control / Verify Credentials: Ensure that individuals attempting to enter the facility have proper identification and access passes, such as badges, cards, or visitor passes.
• Surveillance: Continuously monitor CCTV cameras placed around the gate area to identify suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, or any security breaches.
• Monitor Entry and Exit Points: Ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles are entering or exiting the lot by checking identification, vehicle registration, or other access control protocols.
• Log Entries and Exits of Trucks: Keep a detailed log of all trucks entering or leaving the premises, including company name, driver name, truck ID number, cargo type, and delivery or pick-up details.
• Observe for Security Threats: Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering individuals, or any signs of illegal activities such as theft, vandalism, or drug use.
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report any security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate authorities or management, and document the incident thoroughly.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Previous experience in security is preferred
