Job summary

Mary Kay Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Protective Services Officer to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at our facilities.

You will provide armed protection of corporate property, personnel, and visitors, patrol buildings and parking areas, and ensure doors and gates are secured. This role requires 2+ years of security experience, a high school diploma, and eligibility for a state security commission.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security experience.
• Eligibility to receive state security commission.
• Ability to obtain Texas ECA certification within one year.
• Demonstrated proficiency with department-issued weapons (training provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all Mary Kay facilities to identify security breaches, fire risks, and safety hazards; document incidents.
• Maintain logs and records at posts, including dispatch and radio tracking.
• Complete inspections for vehicles, firearms, medical bags, eyewash stations, and fire systems.
• Respond to emergencies such as accidents, fires, or safety incidents.
• Manage parking and vehicle traffic to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activity.
• Provide armed escort services for movement of funds and materials once state commissioning is met.
• Deliver first aid and CPR after First Responder certification.
• Support rotating posts/shifts and handling confidential data.
