Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Driving Patrol in Denver, CO. You will provide security for transit facilities and riders, performing armed patrols, and delivering professional customer service.

The role requires an armed guard card/license, valid driver’s license, and adherence to shift schedules. You will report incidents, complete reports, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. 21+ and a high school diploma are expected.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license required or preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• State or local security license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older for armed roles.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or security concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and assist with crowd management during peak periods and events.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate information to site representatives and responders.
