Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking an Armed Security Officer – Patrol Driver to safeguard government facilities and other sites. This is a driving-focused role requiring vigilance, professional communication, and strong customer service.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and prepare clear reports. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and a rotating day/evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and the public while following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate law enforcement or emergency personnel as required.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation for patrol activity and security-related concerns.
