Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Armed Driver Patrol) in Reno, NV. You will conduct armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible presence to deter threats while delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements include NV ARMED PILB, at least 1 year armed security or related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Weekly pay options and sign-on bonus are available, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Pepper spray certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with agencies as needed.
• Conduct armed patrols of government buildings and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity per procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and patrol logs accurately.
