Job summary

Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking an Armed Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Patrol Observation. You will serve government locations, conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while safeguarding employees and visitors.

Requirements include at least 1 year of armed security, a valid driver's license, and compliance with licensing and background checks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws and drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by enforcing procedures and safety policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and coordinate with agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of government buildings and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity or violations.
• Prepare incident reports and patrol logs per procedures.
