Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Operations in Goldsboro, NC. You will provide customer service, conduct armed patrols, and respond to incidents in a government-related environment while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• At least 6 months of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, facility-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct armed patrols of assigned facility areas, grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and egress points, verify authorization for entry, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communications with facility personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
