Job summary

Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Armed Security Guard Driver Response Patrol to protect government facilities. In this driving role you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

This full-time position requires a valid driver's license, armed guard card preferred, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving approach.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain awareness of individuals entering or leaving locations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
