Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents and inquiries in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
