Qualifications

• Must be professional.
• Hold a current Level III TX DPS PSB license (pocket guard card).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and working phone.
• Ability to safely handle/operate firearm.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Work independently with good work ethics.
• Able to pass a physical fitness assessment.
• Must pass a background check.
• 21 years of age or older.
• U.S. Citizen.
• No felony convictions in last 10 years.
• No Class A/B misdemeanor convictions in recent years.
• Cannot be on deferred adjudication for felonies or have open cases.
• Must own duty gear/firearm and be able to obtain specified equipment.
