Qualifications

• Coursework/training in criminal justice, law enforcement, police science, criminology, or related field and experience conducting criminal investigations.
• Active law enforcement certification required or ability to renew through NLETC reactivation training.
• Background checks including fingerprints will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive criminal investigations including interviewing suspects, victims and witnesses.
• Participate in law enforcement task forces and inter‑agency work groups.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners.
• Maintain detailed written reports and provide testimony as needed.
