Job summary

The Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) is seeking a Criminal Investigator III in the Auto Industry Division. As a certified Peace Officer, you will conduct complex investigations, ensure compliance with state statutes, and educate stakeholders.

This role requires travel, night and weekend work, and a strong background in regulatory investigations. Minimum qualifications include six years of investigative experience and a valid Colorado POST certification.

Qualifications

• Six years of investigative experience.
• Active Colorado POST certification in good standing.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct complex criminal investigations within the Auto Industry Division.
• Execute investigations and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions.
• Prepare case files and testify in court or administrative proceedings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with other agencies.
