Advocate Health is seeking a Public Safety Officer I – Armed at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. The role is full-time with 2nd/3rd shift hybrid scheduling, including (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts.

Prior security/public-safety experience and Illinois FOID and other licensure are expected. The position carries benefits eligibility, a 40-hour work week, and a pay range of $22.90–$34.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Security officer experience and customer-service oriented mindset are desirable.
• Ability to de-escalate and enforce safety rules with professionalism.
• Strong observation skills and awareness during patrols and incidents.

Responsabilités

• Provides security services with a customer-service approach and professional demeanor.
• Performs interior and exterior patrols to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Audits life-safety measures, manages patient valuables, and conducts contraband searches.
• Responds to emergencies and workplace incidents; supports de-escalation and use-of-force when needed.
• Maintains radio communications, reports incidents, and coordinates with law enforcement.
