Job summary

Golden SVCS, LLC is seeking a Protective Security Officer to shield federal property and personnel from theft, hazards, and interference. The role includes tours, access control, and enforcing site regulations.

The officer will monitor entrances, respond to emergencies, and document events. FPS training credentials and security clearances are valued, with equal opportunity employment. Training and development are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of security (armed) or 1 year law enforcement; or 2 years of honorable US Armed Forces service.
• Must have a Social Security Card.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Able to read, speak, write and understand English.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Pass background investigation including criminal, credit and driving checks.
• Pass US Government background investigation for required secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facility and assist visitors.
• Monitor entrances/exits and direct people; operate a gate and CCTV.
• Patrol assigned site on foot.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident and provide directions or information.
• Prepare logs or reports for the post.
• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and other incidents per procedures.
• Carry out similar duties as required for the post.
