Job summary

Golden SVCS, LLC seeks a Protective Security Officer to protect federal property and employees, conduct tours, monitor access points, and enforce regulations. The role includes responding to emergencies and maintaining logs.

Candidates must have FPS credentials, be a U.S. citizen, 21+, pass physical/drug screens and background checks. Comprehensive benefits and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read and write coherent English.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass a physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must obtain contract suitability.
• FPS credentials required: Contractor Initial Weapons Exhibit/Certificate.
• FPS credentials required: Basic Training Exhibit/Certificate.
• FPS credentials required: Refresher Training Exhibit/Certificate.
• FPS Orientation Exhibit/Certificate.
• Virginia Handgun and Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the facility and assist visitors with entry.
• Monitor entrances/exits, screen and direct visitors and employees.
• Patrol assigned site on foot.
• Protect evidence or scene of incidents and set up barriers/log reports.
• Prepare logs or reports for post activities.
• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and other incidents following procedures.
• Perform additional tasks of similar scope as required.
