Job summary

First Responder Protective Services (FRPS) is seeking a professional Armed Security Agent to join our team for assignments throughout the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The role involves high-end security work, including a mix of uniformed and plain clothes operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of PPO license experience and prior law enforcement or military background is preferred. This PT position offers evening/overnight shifts with potential for promotion and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level III Texas Commissioned Security License.
• Must have active Level IV Personal Protection Officer (PPO) endorsement.
• Must be current on firearms qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working under a PPO license.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Favorable driving history.
• Ability to sit, stand, or drive for extended periods.
• Must be reliable, professional, and capable of operating independently or within a team.
• Must be willing to work both uniformed and plain clothes assignments as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-end security work including a mix of uniformed and plain clothes operations.
• Work throughout the greater Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
• Not entry-level security work; support corporate, private, and institutional clients seeking highly trained professionals.
