Premier Protective Security in Dallas, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer licensed in Texas to protect client sites. A personal firearm is required; PPS does not provide a firearm. Salary is $20 per hour with overtime opportunities where applicable.

This full-time role is based at 7425 Bonnie View Rd, Dallas, TX 75241. Qualifications include 21+ for armed roles, a high school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience, and successful background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age for ARMED roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for ARMED Roles).
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
• They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• We don't compromise on integrity and create an open forum for our employees and customers to voice opinions, report improprieties, and share information.
• Vigilance: Seeing, hearing, and evaluating.
• A Premier Protective Security employee is always attentive and often notices things that others don't.
• Their vigilance is necessary to be aware of potential risks or incidents that may take place on our customers' premises.

Must be licensed as an ACTIVE and ARMED Security Guard in the State of Texas before applying

Must own a personal firearm to carry on the job. (ex. 9MM, .45 cal) (must be semi-auto) (PPS does not provide a firearm)

Salary: $20 an hour

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must have at least 1 year of experience to be considered

Shift: Sun - Tue (5pm - 5am) Wed (5pm - 11pm)
