Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Nashville, TN. You will conduct armed patrols, control access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service at a technology, media, and telecom site.

This full-time role requires at least one year of armed security experience, a valid guard card if required, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
