Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Part Time Patrol Support in Phoenix, AZ. You will safeguard clients across government and other sectors, providing professional customer service and a visible security presence.

The role involves patrolling, site access monitoring, incident response, and reporting observations to designated personnel. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law, with licensing considerations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation required by applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government services location while carrying out site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
