Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Part Time) for a government location in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering professional customer service to visitors, employees, and the public.

You will conduct regular armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, respond calmly to incidents, monitor access points, and complete required reports. Schedule is DayTime/Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM and Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM; pay is $23.00 per

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license must be held.
• Minimum age of 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances in a calm, professional manner and request assistance when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; enforce site procedures and report anomalies.
• Maintain reports and logs and carry required equipment per policy and law.
