Qualifications

• Six months armed security experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Armed guard card preferred
• 21+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check as required by law
• Drug screen required where permitted
• Security training programs
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and the public while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and access points.
• Monitor activity and report security concerns, policy violations, hazards, and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally following protocols.
• Maintain daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation.
