Allied Universal in Butner, NC is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Armed Patrol Driver to protect clients across government facilities and other locations. The role includes conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and delivering professional customer service.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and law enforcement when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs, and maintain required qualifications for armed patrol assignments.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
