Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company in North America, seeks an Armed Security Officer for a driving patrol role in Nashville, NC. The position requires an armed guard card and a valid driver’s license, with a schedule of 40 hours per week and a starting pay rate of $21.50 per hour.

You will perform patrols, monitor access points, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns at a government location.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card/licence required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors at a government corrections location by following site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular & random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, control entry/exit, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions per site procedures.
• Maintain reports, logs, and incident documentation, upholding a professional environment.
