Job summary

Sight & Sound is seeking a dedicated Security Officer or Security Guard for overnight coverage. The armed role requires PA Act 235 certification and a valid Concealed Carry Permit, with a 10pm–8am, 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu). The position emphasizes guest safety, facility stewardship, and excellent service.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass background and fitness checks, and be prepared for training and occasional shift changes across the week.

Qualifications

• PA Act 235 Certification is required or eligible.
• Concealed Carry Permit required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Outgoing, personable, even-tempered and self-motivated.
• Willing to work all shifts and travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and exemplify Sight & Sound's mission, values, and safety statements.
• Provide the highest level of customer service and partner with guest service teams.
• Demonstrate the Sight & Sound culture in interactions with guests and team members.
• Provide armed security to protect guests and staff and monitor threats.
• Maintain an alert on-site presence with interior and exterior rounds.
• Apply basic security principles while delivering top-notch service.
• Attend annual training set by Security Manager/Trainer.
• Stay current with security procedures and SOPs and liaise with local safety entities.
• Engage positively with coworkers and guests.
