Job summary

Sight & Sound is seeking a Security Officer or Guard for overnight weekday shifts in Lancaster, PA. The role may be armed or unarmed and requires 3–5 years in security, police, or military backgrounds, along with a valid PA Act 235 certification or eligibility, a concealed carry permit, and a valid driver’s license.

The position involves a 10pm–8am, 4/10 schedule, staying on-site, and readiness for occasional shift changes.

Qualifications

• PA Act 235 Certification required or eligible.
• Valid Concealed Carry Permit is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to respond calmly under stress.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest-service skills.
• Willingness to work all shifts and travel for training.
• Must pass background, drug and fitness screenings; psychological wellbeing checks.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture aligned with our mission, values, and safety statements.
• Provide high-level customer service and collaborate with guest service teams.
• Maintain an armed or unarmed security presence and respond to threats.
• Monitor and patrol interior and exterior areas of the facility.
• Complete annual training and stay current with procedures.
• Coordinate with local fire/police and outside security contractors as needed.
