Job summary

Sight & Sound is seeking a Security Officer or Guard for overnight weekday shifts at our Lancaster, PA location. The armed Officer requires PA Act 235 certification and carries an hourly duties with a 4/10 schedule from 10pm to 8am, Monday through Thursday, on-site at Lancaster Theater.

Unarmed guards are also considered, with responsibilities focused on guest safety and property stewardship. Both roles maintain 24/7 security presence and require strong interpersonal skills and reliable

Qualifications

• PA Act 235 certification current or eligible to obtain.
• Concealed carry permit required or eligible.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts and travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture aligned with Sight & Sound mission and safety.
• Provide customer service and partner with guest service teams to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain alert on-site presence and conduct regular rounds.
• Provide armed security when assigned and respond to threats.
• Maintain relationship with local public safety agencies and conduct training as required.
• Attend annual trainings with Security Manager/Trainer.
