Job summary

Sight & Sound in Ronks, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer or Guard for weekend overnights. The armed or unarmed position protects guests and facilities, with duties including vigilant presence, incident response, and strong customer service.

Shifts run Friday and Saturday 10pm–8am and Sunday 10pm–6am, averaging 28 hours per week; PA Act 235 and Concealed Carry required or eligible. Must pass background, drug screening, and fitness assessments, and may work with local police or security

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of armed security, police, or military experience.
• Valid Concealed Carry Permit.
• PA Act 235 Certification or eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to respond calmly in stressful environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and approachable demeanor.
• Willingness to work overnight weekend shifts.
• Ability to pass screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote a culture aligned with our mission and safety statements.
• Provide high levels of guest service and security coverage.
• Maintain vigilant onsite presence with interior/exterior rounds.
• Protect guests and coworkers through armed security when required.
• Coordinate with local public safety and outside security contractors.
• Attend required training and stay updated on procedures.
