Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Mobile Security Officer in Austin, TX. You will patrol a retail location, deter theft, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence and following security procedures.

Minimum requirements include 3+ years of law enforcement/military or 5+ years armed security, 21+ years old, and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Background check and drug screen required; licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors while following site procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of store, parking areas, and perimeter to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or disturbances per procedures.
• Monitor access points and report incidents or hazards to appropriate personnel.
