Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Driver Operations) in Austin, TX. You will provide professional security, perform armed patrols at a retail location, and maintain safety while delivering customer service. A valid Texas Level III Armed Certification and driver’s license are required.

Shift is Sat and Sun afternoons/evenings; compensation is $26.50 per hour with a flexible schedule and access to our Shift platform for more hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years armed security experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees per site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of store, parking, delivery zones, and perimeter.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and disturbances following policy.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; guide customers and staff as needed.
• Prepare reports and communicate observations to site management.
