Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Austin, TX. You will perform armed patrols at a retail location, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents with professionalism while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification, with shifts including day and evening hours. Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience (or 5+ years

Qualifications

3+ years combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years armed security experience.
Valid driver’s license per policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees at a retail location by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel or services as needed.
Conduct regular armed patrols throughout store, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and protect merchandise, assets, and property per site procedures.
Prepare reports and documentation related to incidents and patrols.
