Allied Universal in Washington, DC is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Mobile Patrol to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts.

Salary is $35.00 per hour. The role requires armed security experience, a guard card/license, and a background check; fixed shifts with options to earn more through additional shifts.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
• Armed guard card/license required.
• Background checks conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Maintain a visible armed presence in accordance with laws, licensing requirements, training, and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, reporting concerns to management.
