GardaWorld Security is seeking an Armed Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments and deter threats. The role requires vigilance, prompt decision-making, and strong observation skills to protect people and property.

Responsibilities include verifying identities, monitoring alarms, and coordinating with law enforcement as needed. A NY armed security license, valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma are essential.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
• New York State Armed Security License required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Military or Law Enforcement experience.
• Able to pass extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrols of sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Qualifications of an Armed Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Must have one of the following: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Military or Law Enforcement experience
• New York State Armed Security License
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
