Job summary

Securitas USA invites applicants for Armed Security Officer, Licensed Security Officer and Event Officer roles with open interview days in Newport News, Virginia. These positions require weekend availability and offer a chance to join a nationwide protective services leader.

Pay ranges from $17.00 per hour for unarmed posts to $20.00 per hour for armed posts, with weekly pay, growth opportunities, and a full benefits package including health, dental, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Must be 18+, pass a lifetime background and drug test.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Meet licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard where applicable.
