Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hosting open interviews for Armed Security Officer, Licensed Security Officer and Event Officers at 12350 Jefferson Ave, Suite 160, Newport News, VA 23620. Shifts include weekends with pay weekly and growth opportunities within the company.

Positions include both full-time and part-time options. The pay ranges from $17.00 per hour for unarmed to $20.00 per hour for armed security.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to cover all assigned events and shifts as needed.
• Must be 18, pass a lifetime background & drug test
• Valid Driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be professional
• Professional appearance: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.

Responsibilities

• Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
