Allied Universal in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Hospital Behavioral Response to protect patients, visitors and staff within a healthcare setting. You will monitor, patrol, and respond to security incidents with a calm, professional demeanor and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires an armed guard card or license, 21+ years old, and the ability to work in a hospital morgue.

Qualifications

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation per laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally following protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to identify unusual activity and maintain a welcoming environment.
Monitor access points and observe visitors, vendors, and deliveries in line with procedures, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity using required reporting processes.
