Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence in public-facing areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
