Garnet Health is seeking an Armed Security Guard to protect the Garnet Health Medical Center community in Catskills, NY. The role includes safeguarding all facilities and ensuring safety for patients, visitors, employees and volunteers.

You will enforce security policies, participate in crisis training, and may supervise other officers. Evenings 3p-11p with rotating weekends and holidays, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Security or related field required or five years of direct law enforcement/security experience.
• Law Enforcement/Security experience required.
• Active shooter response training course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Garnet Health policies and protect patients, staff, and visitors.
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate with hospital leadership.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in training.
