Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Minimum two (2) years of armed security experience preferred.
• Law enforcement experience preferred.
• Healthcare security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
• Conducts frequent security patrols of the facilities and grounds as assigned.
• Identifies and reports trends related to security issues.
• Takes initial information for an incident report and submits timely reports.
• Responds promptly to service requests by supervisor or others in a courteous manner.
• Responds to lost and found items and patient valuables according to policy.
• Enforces CHRISTUS Health rules, policies, and procedures.
• Controls facility parking as applicable.
• Assists staff with combative patients or visitors.
• Operates security systems and generates electronic reports.
