Job summary

Allied Universal’s Voorhees, NJ team is seeking an Armed Security Officer for part-time, healthcare facility security operations. You will patrol and monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, manage access control, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities include patient and staff service, incident reporting, and coordination with emergency responders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• New Jersey RPO Certificate required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Operate and maintain authorized equipment, including assigned firearms, in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
