Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Westwood, NJ. You will safeguard healthcare clients, monitor hospital areas, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism.

Responsibilities include patrolling, incident response, and reporting, while maintaining a visible security presence and customer service focus for a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
• Must be vaccinated for flu and COVID-19.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• A background check and drug screen are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and hospital policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner following notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, report unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs while communicating with hospital staff and Allied Universal leadership.
