Job summary

Pac-Tac Protective Solutions is seeking armed security professionals for retail locations in Washington and Oregon. You will provide a visible security presence, assist customers, deter theft, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional appearance.

Shifts include day, swing, and graveyard; current license preferred. Uniforms and equipment are provided. You must be able to lease a firearm to the company and comply with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous armed security, military, law enforcement, or retail loss prevention experience.
• Training in conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques.
• Strong observational and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security appearance.
• Engage with customers and employees in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts and disruptive behavior.
• Assist customers with directions, store information, and general inquiries.
• Monitor store activity to identify and deter theft, fraud, safety hazards, and policy violations.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the store and parking areas.
• Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents while prioritizing the safety of all parties.
• Prepare accurate incident, activity, and investigative reports.
• Coordinate with store management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.
• Enforce company policies and procedures with professionalism and respect.
• Maintain firearm proficiency, licensing, and training standards in compliance with state regulations.
• 8-9 Hour Shifts, standing/walking required
