Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government office front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate offices or waiting areas.
• Monitor access to the facility, maintain visitor logs, and deter unauthorized entry per established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain records of daily activities, visitor interactions, and security-related incidents and communicate to site leadership.
