Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Secret Cleared Security Officer for the Federal Protective Service. The role includes armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting, and exceptional customer service at a Washington, DC site.

Active Secret Clearance is required. 3 years of armed experience or law enforcement, a current driver’s license, and the ability to obtain FPS suitability within 60 days are essential. Training paid at $25/hr; site pay from $33/hr.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
• Firearms qualifications and NWDTP certification are needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protective services and patrols as per standards.
• Maintain access control, CCTV, and alarm monitoring.
• Report safety concerns and incidents in writing and verbally.
• Respond to emergencies with professionalism and according to protocol.
• Greet visitors and supervise post orders; follow site directives.
• Patrol the facility on foot or vehicle and monitor surveillance equipment.
