Job summary

Allied Universal in Morganton, NC seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Deterrence to serve government clients and deter incidents. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and an armed guard credential.

You will perform mobile patrols, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and maintain clear, professional communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Armed Guard Card/License preferred.
• Age 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and post orders at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor and incident information.
• Complete required activity reports and shift documentation.
