Job summary

Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Court, is seeking an armed Security Officer to safeguard the Arizona State Courts Building. The role involves patrolling premises, operating screening equipment, and monitoring access points to ensure safety and compliance.

The position requires detecting security breaches, managing CCTV alarms, and responding to incidents while working various shifts, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma and security experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus three years’ related security experience.
• Ability to meet standards for firearms use as required by Administrative Office of the Courts.
• Knowledge of security procedures, fire hazard inspection, and security devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security services at the Arizona State Courts Building.
• Patrol the building, grounds, and parking lots; operate screening equipment.
• Monitor restricted areas and security systems; operate CCTV and alarms.
• Check for unlocked doors and windows; respond to unusual or suspicious circumstances.
