The Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts, is seeking a Security Officer to provide armed security at the Arizona State Courts Building. Responsibilities include patrolling the building, grounds, and parking areas, and operating screening equipment to inspect visitors and packages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with three years of related security experience.
• Ability to meet Administrative Office of the Courts firearms standards.
• Knowledge of security procedures and fire hazard inspection.
• Ability to operate metal detectors, X-ray machines, CCTV and alarms.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the building, grounds and parking areas.
• Operate screening equipment for all visitors and packages.
• Monitor CCTV and duress alarms; check for unlocked doors/windows.
• Respond to unusual or suspicious circumstances and shifts, holidays and weekends.
