Job summary

Walden Security is actively seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security at courthouses under a USMS contract. Duties include screening, patrolling, guarding, escorting, and enforcing federal law within court facilities.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of verifiable law enforcement experience, plus a valid driver’s license and DOJ clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or equivalent within the last 7 years.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and DOJ clearance; completion of certified law enforcement training academy.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control with security screening equipment and enforcement of entry protocols.
• Roaming patrols of court facilities and grounds.
• Stationary post assignments monitoring CCTV, duress alarms, and courtrooms.
• Provide armed escort services for judges, court personnel, jurors, and designated individuals.
• Direct traffic and control access on court facility properties as described in post orders.
